The Lilian Prime MS Centre are a Derby-based charity run by local volunteers, dedicated trustees and a couple of staff members, to provide support, social interaction, and resource for people affected by Multiple Sclerosis and other similar neurological conditions.
The Centre is a purpose-designed venue that is the heart of the Charity. Here we provide support, guidance and a range of therapies designed to help with various neurological conditions. We offer quality services through our outstanding team of specialist therapists and qualified employees, supported by many first-class volunteers.
Since the Centre opened, we have been adapting to meet the unique needs of our clients and responding to the latest guidance and innovations. With significant experience, we have created a positive environment where anyone can drop in, have a chat, and join in with various activities focused on enhancing the well-being of our users.
Our History
The Lilian Prime MS Centre Charity was formed in July 2020. As MS Day Centres began to decrease in number across the UK, we felt that there was still a need to provide support to the community. A group of volunteers decided that the way forward was to form a new charity supporting the MS Activity centre in Derby for many years.
Having amazing people who want to make a difference has kept The Lilian Prime MS Centre alive and stronger than ever. We aim to grow as a family through new volunteers, fundraisers and signposting.
