Our Seated Tai Chi and Health Qigong classes are run by Carol Gascoyne – An experienced and Qualified Tai Chi & Health Qigong Instructor.
Each class starts with some simple but effective warm-up exercises followed by some gentle tai chi and health qigong movements. The latter part of the class will include some cool-down activities leading to a short relaxation session.
The class will be seated either using a seat or wheelchair, depending on preference. You will be guided through some warm-up exercises followed by an introduction to some gentle Tai Chi and Qigong movements. Whilst the activities are done slowly, they are still effective for helping to improve mobility and coordination. We will also be learning some breathing and relaxation techniques that can be used anytime to help reduce stress and anxiety.
